Thank you for the welcome!

I cannot describe my disappointment when I walked into that ***** terrible pet shop on 61st and she informed me that she was the only pet store on the island... And she had the audacity to tell me that reefkeeping as a hobby died about five years ago and that I'd be hard up to find a three saltwater stores in the entire houston area...

My first thought, being the easily shaken creature that I am, was that I must be the only aquarist standed on a reef-tank-less island...

Thank goodness this forum has disproved that notion!

it's still too cold...you need to wait until the end of march at the earliest, and it may be too cold then too.

Still might be a little too cold. Even if you got some you would have to temp acclimate them for a while. I think the water temps are still in the 60's(sorry haven't checked in a while), i know the water here in Port A is still cold.

Sure, I can always use an extra set of hands.

What time of day are you going on Monday? I have a couple of nets, a bucket, and a battery-powered air pump and would love to join you guys and see what we can get.

Probably leaving Katy around 3-4PM, have dinner then water the shore for a few hours, I've got plenty of buckets, air pumps and nets, so we're set, I jsut need to pick up a few waterproof flashlights.
