Exactly right…That shouldn’t be an issue if your homeowners policy covers replacement value.

RCV confirmed today. I’d like a koi pond on my new roof that we are building. Can you start Monday?!! HahaThat means that you have or had an ACV policy. That’s the fault of either your agent or you. (Not trying to be rude by any means) RCV policy is what you want, it will cost you more in your premiums but when you need them they will pay Replacement Cash Value instead of Actual Cash Value. These are three little words that most do not pay attention to and is extremely costly in the end! Basically, ACV means depreciation and RCV does not.
Are you a sales rep?My boss owns a roofing business, too. they’ll come out and do inspection/quote with and without insurance if needed. Sounds like ross tha man tho! Prolly your best bet
Not at all lol my boss just owns a roofing business with his wife on the sideAre you a sales rep?
Maybe, but on days like today you would just burst into flames on a roof...Was just wondering, looking for good guys myself! One hell of a side gig tho lol. Roofing is rather lucrative!
Why would you expect anything different?Okay if you got a roof that is more than 15 years old insurance will not pay 100% of the replacement cost.
So for the heck of it I called Allstate - the agent told me if roof is over 15 years old insurance will cover it’s cost less depreciation- basically you are paying for majority of it plus your deductible.
Review your homeowners policy if you got an old roof…
Hush up now. I got a new roof on the insurance company's dime. Don't say anything that will have to make me repay that cost!Okay if you got a roof that is more than 15 years old insurance will not pay 100% of the replacement cost.

There was a hail storm in may of last year which caused enough damage for the insurance company to bite on.I thought you didn't have storm damage.
Like with his roof, it often takes someone like myself to assist with the right method of nudge lolThere was a hail storm in may of last year which caused enough damage for the insurance company to bite on.
I'll keep that in mind if I get a bad storm. I did tell my supervisor to give you a call. He has needed a new roof for a while now....Like with his roof, it often takes someone like myself to assist with the right method of nudge lol
