Is the MCBond better than Weldon?

I know most of the Acrylic guys use Weldon.

James and Floyd have both recommended MCBond over Weldon. James especially does not like the weldon product. I know James and I believe Floyd both use their own mix.

Ok, I'll go with it. I'm working some overtime this next check and plan on picking up a few things. We can go in half.

Do we really need 2 gallons though? That stuff goes a long way!

One other thing I'm kinda worried about is what number of Weldon is it equivalent to since I have no idea about the dry time?

I believe it is somewhere between wo4 and wo5 ( no longer made had a longer drying time)...

That's what sucks about it...and why I have never purchased it... The 4x.5g is the smallest unit of order...

May not be worth it...Maybe we should just order some MEK and Glacial acetic acid and mix... a lot cheaper...

Between 4 and 5 might be perfect. I plan on using 4.

I plan on building a custom 180/G in the future. I could use your help pulling the pins as I cement the panels.

I'll probably need quite a lot of cement so we'll see. I need to pull the trigger on a table saw and a bigger router.

Still trying to figure out the best tools. Pretty sure I want a larger table with a fence. You have any good pics of what might be the best table to use?

sure... hope you have test pieces for us to work with.... I have very little practical experience... lots of reading and some modifications to sumps...but nothing very large.

I'm about to use my little wo42 (weldon 40 and catalyst in a cartridge) gun this weekend to repair a PM reactor (time permitting)...
