"The Niles Police Department is classifying one incident as “something you don’t see every day”.
"The department posted a picture on Facebook showing two men on a motorcycle. One of them is holding a box containing an aquarium that turned out to be stolen, according to police.
Police say they got the call just after 11:30 a.m. Monday from a PetSmart worker reporting that two men had shoplifted an aquarium from the store on Youngstown-Warren Road.
The caller said the men, carrying the aquarium, sped away on a motorcycle.
An officer on his way to the call spotted the motorcycle on Route 46 and turned the cruiser around to give chase.
The passenger jumped off the bike on West Street, breaking the aquarium according to police.
As the motorcycle continued to flee police arrested 52-year-old Mitchell Adkins of Niles."
