mine crapped out... anyone have a suggestion for an all-in-one?

You can use your canisters from the old unit and just attached to this - you can also add few more canisters from BRS to make it more robust such as adding more di/carbon filters as well as in-line tds meter form BRS. This thing is pretty much autmoated - auto flush and all. I'm really happy with this unit for the past 1.5 years:

i saw this one in my search last night, its just like the one i have now but like your issue, my soleniod crapped out as well. I tried replacing it but its still screwy. nothing yet... ive just been getting by with the water my service guy brings each week. But i still plan on going with your suggestion for this one once i do add it to the cart.
