This store is located just off the SW corner of the beltway. Very close to City Pets. I usually hit both when I’m out this way.
This is a smaller store in the area as far as Coral and fish go. It has more fish than coral. The store has a nice little 75/G display when you walk in the door. Going a little further in there’s a very small Coral room on the right, where he’s got a small selection of Coral. SPS, LPS, Softies. These tanks are sumpless and running on canister filters. However, it seems to work for him. Tanks are stable. They’re lit with Kessel LED’s. I feel the prices are decent here and we’ll worth the visit. Keep in mind...”small coral room” as in really small.
Hes also has a decent sized fish section. He carries a fair amount of dry goods, and also has some dry rock and LR for sale. The owner is a younger guy who’s quiet and stays behind the scenes for the most part. The workers are not very knowledgeable and there’s one guy that’s kinda over-bearing. That coral room is small and when I’m in it, I’d prefer to be in it alone and not have a hovering worker asking me questions and if I need help. Some people just don’t know how to read customers. When you wait tables, you gotta learn how to read that table. If you walk up and ask if they need a refill or if they’re OK every 5 seconds people will become annoyed. Same concept here. Other than that.. I don’t have any complaints.
The store is clean and for the most part seems to be well kept from what I’ve seen. Pay them a visit, but look out for the tall creepy guy when you’re in the coral room!!
