I recently set up a 45 gallon bow front at my mother's house. After the waiting out the cycling process, I decided to start off with a tiny yellow tang. About three days after the tang had been in there, I started to notice white spots on his fins. He had been eating well and appeared generally happy. I went to the LFS and bought a Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp. The first night that it was in there, it started doin its duties... the next morning i noticed that the yellow tang's fin was clean, however, it appears that the shrimp had also taken off a small portion of the fin. is this normal? i dont know if the little guy just got carried away and started ripping anything that was in his way..

anyone seen anything like this?

thanks

Possibility that the shrimp took too much, but I wouldn't worry about it.
Fin will grow back quickly.
