I purchase a few of these black acrylic sheets from Amazon.
Upon delivery, I noticed this morning sticker. Seems a little alarming, just wanted to confirm this will be safe to use submerged in saltwater.

Typical California regulation overreach or legitimate concern?

Put it in your tank and find out. That’s typically how I test haha

I just looked up a few brands of acrylic and checked out their MSDS. The warning refers to when the material is being machined, it will release some vapors that the state of California claims can cause health issues. It should be perfectly fine to put it in your tank, same as any other acrylic.

You should be fine.

I have used this stuff on a bare bottom tank with no issues.

Well, at the end of the day, 100% of all people that drink water die. That’s why I’ve been sticking to beer. Worms or long relationships have never been a problem.
