Hello everyone,

I just would like to say thank you for all the votes I got for this months TOTM award.
Feeling very proud about it that I finally, even very close, made it at the end, against a really strong competition ;-)
Special thanks to City pets sponsoring this event this month !!!! I will be there soon ;-)

Also a "huge thank you" to all my frag buyers who basically made it happen to have a tank like that.
"All" of the sales I do, basically went back into the tank and equipment I invested in the last two years and allowed me to tune the tank to the status it is today.
Without you guys, this would not have been possible in that short time of 2 years.

So this week is again, another era that is going to start with my tank, where I finally decided to go to the next level and change from Balling method to multiple chamber Calcium reactor method,
to maintain the basic trace elements of the reef. ;-)

So stay tuned for that.
As many knows, my Sponsor (non-commercial !!!) section with a lot of helpful infos, videos and guidelines will continue to grow here:

So if you have further questions to the tank and how I run and operate it, just check this link below.
General tank info will be in the TOTM June section accessible on the MARSH homepage.

Congrats Andre! Well deserved for sure. Your SPS are incredible and your tank shows the dedication you put into it. Keep up the good work.

Andre, you definitely had some stiff competition in the race, but you definitely have a beautiful tank as well! You deserve it! I wish I was getting a sweet TOTM banner for my posts as well haha

Yea, congratulations Andrea. I almost had ya. Next we should do a "Almost tank of the month" contest! Congratulations to everybody that submitted photos. There are a lot of nice tanks out there. It takes a lot courage to post your tank up there. I'm glad I did it anyway.

Also Andre, thanks for the suggestion for the CO2 scrubber. I built one from an $8 Walmart storage container and ordered the media from the Vet supply you suggested. It brought my pH up .2 across the board. It was 7.8 night and 8.0 daytime. Now it is 8.0 at night and 8.2 daytime. The only drawback I can see is it burns through media kinda fast. May end up making a vent to draw from outside some how.

One month we should do a themed contest. LPS only, SPS only, etc. I almost couldn't decide this month. Your tank is just amazing.

Thanks Mark, you should come see it in person. It looks way better. I didn't have a camera worth a hoot to take a good picture so I wasn't really even planning on being a contender. And then when you told Andre he could throw his hat in the ring, I knew I was done. That picture was taken with a friends iphone using some kind of filter. I wasn't happy with it but it was the best I had.

Webster, no reason to hide that tank. It's looking awesome !!!
When I saw all the 4 pictures I did not really expected to make it either, and it was always damn close to yours.

Really nice selection and well grown out colonies you have there.
Whenever you have the time to come by, let me know and I get you a couple of small SPS colonies that go well along with your current corals and the tank theme, such as thick branched Stylo etc.
They would fit perfectly in that tank.

Hope to see you some day and keep up the good work on that Reef.

I'd love too soon. No worries in the pic quality. I think we all can look past the pic quality and vote on the beauty of the tank itself. That is what this is all about. Picking the best tank of the month not the best pic of the month.

Some pictures I found of the good ol days, lol.

Tanks on the move, geez that was a long day and a long night until the tanks were moved around.
Used the Remote DSB to keep everything cycled.
