I fry em with a laser or zap em with my mojo wand, it hurts them and keeps them away from my good stuff... but I have to keep doing it or they come back.

Never thought about the wand or laser. I'm guessing it instant at least. Do they release any of their "chemicals" during this process and disturb other stuff?
