Since i cant find the old thread, here is the new one.
To make this story short.
Kylec sold me a mated pair of true percs. When picking up the pair at his house, I look at their eggs and know right away they are not clownfish eggs. I went ahead and bought the pair but not as mated pair price. Took the eggs home and started to raise them. It turn out to be blenny.
Here is a video of the pair caring for the eggs.

That's cool! now try to get a clown and a blenny to mate and you'll get the jackpot babies lol

LOL. NEVER
I like to get my hand on ur spawning sixline wrasse.

Sent a video to Matt Pedersen and he said they are not molly miller. He is looking up the scientific name for it. He said i might be the first to rear this species. Since i dont have the parents, i will not get a full credit for it so he suggested me to rear F2 then i will get full credit. Hope me luck on getting a pair from this batch and hope the spawn fast because i hate waiting. lol

It would be cool to be the first one so you could give them a unique name like Mike13oy Blennies :)
You saw my video on the sixline mating (it's in the video about the mandarin's mating I posted yesterday)? You'll see those anthias pair ruthlessly running after the female sixline wrasse. As soon as she releases the eggs, these anthias would eat most if not all of the eggs almost instantly. One time i observed the male anthias swallowed the whole egg sack just coming out of the sixline belly! wish i had that on video:)

Where are the parents?

Ask Kyletc. :)
9months ago, i asked him the same question and never got an answer so i name them "Mystery Fry".
Matt Pedersen said they might be Hypleurochilus Geminatus (Crested Blenny) but not 100% sure yet. still waiting on second opinions.

Here is an article Brandon Klaus on Aquanerd wrote about my clownfish pair and blenny :).
Thanks Brandon.

Guess what and im stock too...a pair of F1 has eggs at 2" 9months old.
Since i have 4 clownfish growout tanks, i decided to place 2 blennies in each tank. Yesterday i was cleaning my tank, i saw eggs on pvc pipe.
In the video, u can see the eggs and the female blenny

Wow Mike, that is AWESOME. I love blennies! I think I've only run across one mention of their captive spawning. Dude now I'll spend my days looking for a pair of blennies (I like keeping fish in pairs; it's more interesting). Are they dimorphic? Any ideas on how to find a pair and introduce them to each other?

Lee, whenever my rotifers are ready for u to pick up, I have 2 extra blennies u can have to take home with u.
If u want wild caught, u can catch them at the pier in Galveston at night.
