So its starting to drop babies, I am thinking I am going to remove it from the tank and sell it. When I remove/cut it from the rock there will be some of the base left. Will it continually grow a new crown or will it just die off?

Thanks!

I used to have a leather coral. For me, it did grow slowly back, but that is just one time experience. So don't quote me on that.

I never cut the whole cup. Generally, they seem to regrow well from fragment, only Tyree grows much slower than regular leathers (at least in my tanks) and also starts to break when reaching about 4-5 inches diameter.
