Hey guys and gals in marsh,


Yes I know I haven't been around, but I haven't forget about the club.

I was wondering if anybody had extra lighting system laying around that I could borrow or pick up cheap cheap cheap as I am broke and my pc system just blew up. Any love would be greatly appreciated.

i have a 96w 36" pc i'll let go of for 60.00 may just let you use it if thats what you want. also have a 36" reg light hood but it has a 30w actinic in it.

What size tank are we trying to find lights for? I have a PC strip that is just lying around you could borrow...

All I have are some NO flourescents that I have out in the garage. It is not much, but you are more than welcome to use them or even trade for them for a frag or two ;) Give me a call, or just drop by sometime if you are interested.

that would work out well, but the 36" is a tad to long, but I will take it. Let me see if one more size appropriate comes up first, but I am definitely interested.

30" is the size, It is a deep tank so I will probably need pc or maybe a pendant or something.

dude love the tick were did you find that animation

Thanks for the comment on the avatar. I love the Tick, but I cannot remember where I found the animation.

The tank is coming along fine, now. I got everything cleaned up, although I lost all of my fish. I have already started restocking it though. Even with the fish load that I lost, there was no ammonia spike at all. Just a huge jump in nitrates almost immediately. My corals and clams are in hog heaven.

Sorry to hear about the lighting. I hope you find what you need. If you decide that you want to use what I have, you are more than welcome.

Not good for everything else, but the clams like it. And the corals are still feeding on the remnants of the spawning event, or something. They are still fully extended in feeding mode all the time. Growth is exploding. Killed all the fish, but everything is doing great.
