I think I have made a bad spontaneous purchase.... I was at Fish Gallery and was intending on purchasing a yellow tang.... But I saw the Lionfish and thought it would be cool to have in my tank.... I questioned the sales person about how it would interact with what I already have in my tank.. He assured me that all would be OK... I purchsed some ghost shrimp for him to eat and he did eat some.... I have 2 damsels and a clownfish and 2 cleaner shrimp... the cleaner shrimp are attempting to clean him but are on the cautious side. I am afraid now that I have researched the lionfish... (after the fact) that he may eat my cleaner shrimp... and he prob will... If there is anyone who would like to trade a tang for him, I would consider it... If you have any info that could take away some of my fear about this fish's eating habits . please let me know.. Thank you Cope....

My tank is about 1.5 month running and I have 100 lbs of live rock and a refugium 4 soft corals , snails and hermit crabs. and anemone.. check out the Youtube video to see better what I have to offer more info that I may need... Thanks again...Cope

What type of lion? You may not have any problems or you may have several. It really depends on the type of fish and it's personality. If he is small now, he may not go after some of the other fish, though he may or may not later on ... I would just keep an eye on him and make sure he isn't stalking anyone lol
