Ok, well while I am suppose to wait 48 hours between Formalin dips, my VERY UNEDUCATED guess is that we are out of the woods on the Brook, and are now dealing with the bacteria/wound.

So, while i dose her QT tank with Rally Pro, maybe tomorrow I'll take your suggestion of Rally Bath+Trifeca.

Any thoughts on how often to do the Rally bath?

I would just do a 1-hour bath of RubyRallyPro, then move to a different container or sterile tank, then dose the Trifecta.

+1 Kanaplex & Furan-2 compliments Metroplex very well. The only thing I can think to add is dose Kanaplex + Furan-2 together, and then add Metroplex an hour or two either before or after.

Any thoughts on how often to do the Rally bath?

Daily baths with Rally are fine. I personally treat for 90 minutes @ 1 teaspoon per gallon.

Status update and questions.

Here are some images/videos of the progress

Sunday (sorry, didnt get a clear photo, this video will have to do)

I am assuming that is a bacteria infection and treatment of nightly 90min Ruby bath+continued dosing of Metro+Kana+Furan.

Few questions

1) Is that bacteria/any other treatment I should be doing
2) While it SEEMS like progress is happening, what timeline should I expect for the following: Stop rally bath, stop meds, move back to DT, fin regrowth

I cant thank you enough @Humblefish but I'm sure you get that all the time. Any way of tipping your or supporting you in some way?

Yes, that is a (secondary) bacterial infection AND the treatment plan you have laid out is the correct course of action. (y)

14 days minimum in this situation. A longer treatment (up to 3 weeks) may be required.

Well progress pic its been about 11 days since the last progress pic, and about 15 days of Rally Baths.

And just to confirm, I want to wait for that 'spot' to fully heal before going back in to the DT correct? (not the greatest photo, but we have been making slow steady progress)

ALSO, silly question this far into the process, but do I need to setup a new rally bath every night (meaning, fresh saltwater, and fresh dose of Rally). I have been, but just thought I would ask for me, as well as anyone else stumbling upon this thread.

Yes, because it might eventually need antibiotic treatment if it develops into an infection.

Yes, fresh bath every night. (y)

OK, update time. Its been 3.5 weeks of nightly Rally baths, as well a regiment of Metro/kana/Furan. Things are improving, however, I did have two questions: (Sorry for the fuzzy photos, its been over a month I have been dealing with this, and its clearly time the QT got a GOOD scrub down, not just a water change/rinse)

1) Should I be continuing with the Metro/Kana/Furan?
2) Should I wait for the spot to disappear completely (I just read your 20 Do/Don't, but thought I would ask any ways. IMG_20200916_111704.jpg IMG_20200916_111800.jpg IMG_20200916_111801.jpg

I think the meds have done all the good they're going to do at this point. It's time to repair/rebuild his immune system! Therefore, I would transfer him out of that tank (or do a large water change + run carbon) and focus on food soaking vitamins with clean water (no meds): Vitamins & Herbal Remedies – Marine Fish Diseases and Treatment

Great, any reason I can't move him back into the display tank? I am 99% confident that there's nothing lingering in there as no other fish have developed any symptoms and since this incident I've installed an aqua clear UV light on the system as well as running carbon on it

I personally would wait until he is 100% clear before moving back to the DT, but I also have a low tolerance for risk when it comes to the establish fish in my aquariums. ;)
