thats amazing! all you need is another nano to the right of that long shallow! awesome awesome set up indeed!!!Well, got my little IM10 up and going. Couple LR, Cactus coral, Colt coral, Toadstool, LOTS of mushrooms, a Gorg, and a finger leather and this place is a nice and comfy home for a little clownfish and her itty bitty 1 1/4 Powder blue tang bestie. (Shhhh! Dont tell the tang police! Its just temporary until I get my Purple tang out of the DT and she is fully on frozen and nori). Going to start looking for new zoas to go in for just a little bit of added color.

Wow! Absolutely amazing colors! Looks so unrealMy 20 long that I built into an all in one tank. Fed exclusively with Kalk in the top off water. This tank is catching my eye more than my main tank these days.
That’s a great tank! That was my first saltwater tank a couple years backStarting a Fluval V for my 5 yr oldson.... He is super excited!!
Looks great! So much potential for corals and fish. Can't wait to watch the progress
Started making my stock list. Decided to go with mostly NPS softies, primarily because I am not using a full spectrum light at this time. Aside from some snails and a shrimp though, I can't decide on fish since I'm really limited to one or two in this small of a tank. Debating on (2) sm black clowns, (2) Helfrichi's, or (2) clown gobies.
Leaning away from the clowns because even if I get them small, they will eventually outgrow the tank and I would have to rehome them. I have other plans for the bigger tank and don't want to put 2 pairs of clowns in there.

Decided to go with a nem tank, I know ...... so original right? You know you are going to REALLY have to stay on top of water changes with NPS. A tank that size and the volume of food they need == bad combo IMO from a maintenance perspective. But maybe things have changed... But would be really cool to look at up close!
Very nice! Here is my tank. I’ve had it for a year now and just got the purple birds nest and frogspawn from Cody. The toadstool is about 6 inches across and was only the size of a half-dollar when I got it 10 months ago. The Duncan only had three heads and now has over a dozen. My clownfish host the Duncan and the flowerpot coral, alternating between the two during the day. You can see him under the Duncan in the pic. The tank is a Fluval Evo 13.5 gallons. I ran the original lights which only turned on from actinic to white for 10 months. Just a couple of months ago I change to AI prime HD light. No dosing just 30% water changes every two weeks.
I replied to your questions.Georgeous! What is your light set at...like hours, blue vs white, etc. Feeding of corals type & how often...Looks like you are doing everything perfect!
Lights run from 10 AM to 11 PM on my AI prime HD light. The following screenshots are my settings.
I feed reef roids every six days along with phytofeast and mysis shrimp between those six days. And to change it up I use pellets to feed the corals that would eat them. I also cut up shrimp from the grocery store and feed my rock flower anemone my Duncan and Acan every three or four days. I run two small carbon bags, 1 GFO bag, and 1 Purigen bag along with bio cylinders for the biological filtration all in an In Tank media basket in the first chamber. If you are familiar with the Fluval Evo it has three chambers in the AIO tank. The middle chamber has a small fuge with three mangrove plants, a ball of cheato, and small pieces of live rock. The one thing to balance the whole system is a good cleanup crew, which includes amphipods, various nails, a couple of hermit crab‘s, and a couple of emerald crabs, a scarlet shrimp, and a toxedio urchin. Also it has hitchhikers like tiny feather duster‘s, spaghetti worms, bristle worms etc. I also feed the fish and corals Brine shrimp that I culture from eggs and feed right and after they hatch within 24 to 48 hours. That way they still have the egg sacs on their bodies and have plenty of nutritional value. Most of the corals close up including the Zoea’s, Palys and even the Anemone when I feed the Brine Shrimp.
Hope that helps. I’m still learning and only been in this hobby for about a year now but I truly love it. Thanks for the positive feedback and kind words.
