Fish Fry 960x350 NEW.jpg

Fall Fish Fry and Frag Swap
Saturday 26th 2-6pm
Montgomery, TX 77356

The official first day of fall is almost here, so time to harvest your corals and head out to our Fall Fish Fry and Frag Swap! On Saturday the 26th we will be frying up fish, fries, and other goodies at David's house (@reeftopia ) in Walden near Lake Conroe! It's a little bit of a drive, but to those that have seen his fish room before, y'all know it's definitely a treat to check out!

GIVEAWAY

We will raffle off a brand new Bulk Reef Supply 4-Stage RO Unit! BRS loves to support clubs like MARSH with generous donations like this RO unit, and one of our lucky members is going to walk away with it!

What to bring:
Bring your corals, equipment, or cash and have a fun day talking shop, scoring new frags, emptying the frag rack, or just munching down on some great food! Coral sellers will need to bring their own tank to display their corals, or ask around and find some room in someone else’s tank.

Where:
Montgomery, TX in the 77356 zipcode. The event address will be emailed to those that sign up prior to the event. This is at someone's home so we do not want to publish their address to the general internet.

Guaging interest; I have loose (not attached to rock) - Superman discosomas, orange rhodactis - and a couple small rocks of what were sold to me as gonzo rhodactis (they seem to be the smaller variety).

I can bring them to the party but don't want to bother if no one is interested.

*Thinking of pricing the discos $10 apiece or 3 for $25, and the orange rhodactis $15 each. Not sure how many gonzos are on each rock so that's tbd.

Sorry for the crappy pics 🙃

More pics of the gonzos - a little out of focus but you can see the colors better

Just some shots of a few zoas I'm planning on bringing. I'll have gold hammers, a TCK Master Torch, and some SPS as well!

I will be there for sure, but still can't decide whether to bring anything. All I have to sell are some small toadstools and a Turbinaria frag, which have not brought much interest in the past. And, of course, there's ALWAYS elkhorn Montipora.

My children and I had good time at your place Dave. Your aquatic collections of marine fish, corals and your koi pond are inspiring. My daughter talked about your koi all the way home. I also appreciate Cody the fry chef for his excellent fish 😋. I’m looking for to the holiday get together.

Good to see everyone! Next up is the Christmas Party! Can't figure out if we want to do it at Gregg's or my house this year.

Also, sorry I didn't have time to bring corals @Bakapuma . I'll try to post some up on here this week. Since it's such a long drive for you, I don't mind heading south to meet you in the middle somewhere if you are interested in any of them.

maybe we can ask the members what location they would like better... pros and cons for each place.
