No it's not. Quit watching CNN. Using that analogy, cephalexin and prednisone are for animals too because my vet prescribes them for my dog. Yes there is a veterinary version. But the dummies that were taking it were getting it from the local feed store and taking the dosage recommended for a 1000 lb animal. It is dosed by weight.

Remember the guy that died drinking "fish tank cleaner?" That was the veterinary version of chloroquine phosphate. If you watched the interview with the guys wife, she said that they just stirred a teaspoon into a glass of tea and drank it. Well duh! But more to my CNN comment, the news media called it "FISH TANK CLEANER!" You and I both know chloroquine phosphate isn't fish tank cleaner, and AR-15's aren't machine guns, we don't put clips in a magazine, and Ivermectin ISN'T horse dewormer. If it was, I wouldn't be buying it at Walgreens.
I'm in the medical field. I don't need to watch CNN for advice on medication studies. You're reaching a bit with the rest of your rant. Posting inaccurate medical advice, as opposed to advising someone to see a doctor, is not responsible, and I will speak out against it as often as I like. Thanks

Yea, it's funny with the medical profession these days. I have friends that have health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, etc...I ask these questions of them all the time....did your doctor talk to you about nutrition? Lifestyle change? Maybe refer you to someone that can teach you how to read a label at the grocery store? Maybe starting to exercise a little? Address certain nutritional deficiencies you might have that could be contributing to your condition?
The answer is always the same....NOPE, they just told me to take these pills and come back in 6 months.

And I have friends that have had covid and went to the doctor. The advice they got? There's nothing we can do for you. Go home and self quarantine. If you see your lips turning blue, get to the ER. How about...again....giving them some advice to boost their immune system to help fight this thing.....crickets from the doctors......so if I suggest some vitamins to help get his immune system operating at its optimal efficiency, I hardly see how that is irresponsible advice (ivermectin aside).

Its no wonder the old people, especially in nursing homes, are so susceptible. Most never go outside and get any appreciable amount of sunlight (read d3) and are deficient in it. Same reason they say covid is racist because it disproportionately affects African Americans more. Well most African Americans are deficient in d3 due to the melanin in their skin blocking the sun. How easy would it be to fix a d3 deficiency for these people? Their doctor sure isn't going to mention it.

Well a vaccine sure isn't going to help him at this point. What would your suggestion be? Eat chicken noodle soup and get to the ER if his lips start to turn blue? What do your think your medical profession would recommend if he went to the doctor? I can tell you what they recommended for everyone I know whose had it.

Do you have an oximeter? It is a device that you clip on the end of your finger and it measures your O2 levels. They are only $15 bucks at Walgreens, WalMart, CVS, etc. If you can have someone get you one, you can at least monitor your oxygen levels. They should be in the 98% range at all times. If you get below 95%, I would be getting yourself to a doctor.

In the mean time, try and get something over the counter to help you keep your food down, or in, whatever the case may be.
Hopefully like BigRick said, its just a stomach bug.

A close friend was sick vomiting, diarrhea, fever for close to two weeks. She tested COVID +. Only minor respiratory issues.

She got monoclonal antibodies and I’m not sure what else at ER. Knocked it out in about a week.

Amazon may be useful. You can order pretty much anything without leaving your home and get it the next day.

I'm unable to drive to get anything. Anything I eat turns to liquid within minutes. Even crystal light
I really hope you guys pull through this. I’ve known two people personally that have died from this virus. It’s a horrible illness and I hope you pull through and don’t need rehabilitation. My sister admitted a husband and wife a couple weeks ago. Two days apart and when she admitted the husband she checked the charts for the wife she had just admitted and his wife had already passed. It’s just terrible. Watch your blood oxygen levels and if they drop get to the hospital.
