Allow me to introduce the Drip Acclimator 2000 with built in bubbler. $10000000 to buy it right now, top of the line guys! Splash guard coming soon....

I've been in the hobby long enough to know not to even ask questions, but just slowly back out. Vaguely, think I've done this and applaud the towel usage.

The fish was breathing hard during the drip and I didn’t have a bubbler handy, thus, this genius invention was born.

If I don’t have a towel when I do stuff in the tank dad gets really mad so I always have it. I think I may invest in a bath mat type thing for right there cause the towels tend to crumple up after you walk on them for a while.

Screenshot_20200503-173227_Chrome.jpg 20200503_171313.jpg Screenshot_20200503-173217_Chrome.jpg Here is our DIY. The stand was built using recycled pallet wood. Each board was individually sanded, painted, sanded again, and stained. The short side was an add-on off the original frame to accommodate a 40gl breeder sump. The top, front, and sides all come off. As for the canopy, the front is removeable. We used paint and stain we had laying around so all together this project cost less than $100 and now we have a custom stand/canopy that compliments the rest of our furniture.

Let me know if this isn't considered diy, but I plumbed my 112, 36, and sump together to make a total 150g set up but allowing to separate certain fish, coral, and lighting while allowing to not have to buy double of everything. Realized I was letting one fall behind in maintenance so combined them to better maintain both. The tank on the right is just a fw that we had before my sw days on a cabinet I built out of 2x4 and some plywood. 20201002_185010.jpg

This is my Ver 1.1 still in trial but works great. It's a scrubber and siphoning all in one kit. Can clean your rock and scrub those algea at the same time.

I originally built this filter to remove green hair algae from my display tank when there is a 50 micron filter cartridge installed. It can also be used to remove detritus from your rock work or as a water change pump as seen here. It was super easy to build and now I don't know what I would do without this thing.

I know I should be focused on your genius filter idea....but all I see is what looks like hundreds of mushrooms! Very nice!
