I am in the process of welding out a metal stand for an upcoming build. I was originally thinking of powder coating the stand but would rather have a rubberized type coating to help with sound dampening.

Does anyone have any experience with flex seal or truck bed lining for this? How is the longevity of either one?

Any other recommendations?
