I have been thinking about going to a MH bulb setup. I came across this web site and was wondering if these were good prices and would they work in an aquarium.

I certainly would not use the bulbs, it looks like their color temps are all less than 6500K. I don't know enough about ballasts to make a judgement on them, but I would probably steer away from there for aquarium needs. If you are going to invest in quality lighting, do it right.

ditto

There is two very important pieces of hardware you do not want to skimp on.
1. Protien Skimmer
2. Lights

Mess up one of these two things on a reef tank and it is going to lead to a big disappointment.
