What calc reactors do you suggest? What type of set up is best for not lowering the ph? I also am interested in something that is easy to use.

I have owned a Geo and now I have a dual chamber PM CR...both perform nicely. I would prefer a dosing pump because the CR takes so much room inside the stand. Another advantage is that the dosing pump is way cheaper.

If you have over 150g total water volume I recomend the Geo 618 with a Milwaukee SMS122 ph controller. Mine is dialed in and is set and forget. My alk and calcium are rock steady and corals I've only had for a week already show new growth. Best investment besides my lighting I've made for my tank.

Geos are great, if Ph suppression is a big deal then add a Kalk reactor and run your fuge lighting on a counter cycle to your tank lights to reduce the PH swing. What is your PH now? many corals thrive in lower Ph conditions (7.8-8.0) given you offset the low Ph with High Alk and Calcium levels to promote calcification. Below 7.8 and you are going to have problems. Another way to fight the Low Ph is proper ventilation to the tank, our homes are buttoned up so tight now for energy efficiency that we are often a source of CO2 that lowers the Ph.
