Need someone to help set up apex Neptune (1 Viewer)

Hi am just fairly new to the hobby some of you may know me because I only buy corals from Reefers on here but I have a apex system with the dosser and triton I have it all hooked up but o don’t know how much to dos and how often Nor do I know how to set up the dosser or anything am looking for someone to come by my house and set it all up and as I understand you can make it so that the dos goes off of the Neptunes readings I am will to pay a fee if need be I have watched so many videos but it’s all on the old software before they had the app and that’s what am using I can be reached at 3476319220

For starters before you plug in that triton and ask it to do dosing for you, you need to figure out how much you need to dose each day. Once you have that you can give the Apex parameters to follow by. Don’t rush the process, take your time and figure out exactly how much you need to dose daily.

HI All:

So I have set up initially my APEX system , but now I ran out of materials, no problem let me replace canisters, do the clean up and also have everything topped off and re-calibrated..

well WRONG , now it wants to do an update of software but what is more , even after resets and what not I can't it to start dosing (keep saying test idle), I have also been trying to get the calcum and alkaline to dose again...again system just seems stale, so I am thinking of doing a complete hard reset (and about a day worth of work to redo everything...but in all fairness anyone been there done that that can help me with gotcha's? I got beer and food ....and live in the pasadena area (towards laporte over fairmont)....I have kept the tank healthy by doing 20% water changes weekly now as opposed to every 3 weeks because i don't want the tank to start missing things...

Any help greatly appreciated, be it by more video's or links or as I said some help would be great

My Tri 5 says Idle, no water sample message

is it possible your water sample line is clogged?

if you press the gear button on the trident, you should be able to select configure trident. select prime sample, then hit the save/cloud button. this should reprime your trident.
