hey yall, im currently starting a new reef tank. 75 gal. i ordered the synergy reef v3 overflow. need a little help with drilling the tank for the overflow along with the returns. (2 returns) ive never drilled a tank before. looks easy enough. i have already tested and confirmed the tank isnt tempered. if anyone here who has experience in drilling tanks hit me up. when it arrives and you are willing. ill hire you to drill this. take care yall. happy reefing

You can do it yourself very easily. Go to Lowe’s and buy a sheet of foam insulation. The pink or blue one. Makes a perfect template and easy to drill through. Obviously you want a diamond bit for whatever size bulkheads. BRS makes this easy to match on their website. Then just keep the bit wet and let the drill do the work. Minimal pressure and patience. Once the groove is started you can move the foam. Piece of cake.

It has the diamond bits for both the overflow and the return lines. Has a template for overflow. Just not for the return. I dont know how high, low, or over to put them
