Found a super male Lyertail Anthias at Petco. He was so pretty and couldn't pass up the great deal. I then went to my buddy who brings fish in weekly for some females. ( I've had great success with him, i guess its his treating method). Got them in an acclimation box waiting to go into the DT. What worries me is there is a pair of large Borbonious Anthias in the tank. And they been attacking the box. I got 5 from my guy for my big tank and they took to frozen immediately and are starting to eat pellets. All my leopards from him including the choati leopard wrasses are eating frozen and NLS pellets. I may wait a couple days before I release them.

Petco fish come direct from live aquaria. If you know that your petco managers know what they doing, you shouldn't have to worry anymore then an LFS. :geek:

Yea it’s a little surprising but a welcome change. I can’t even imagine what their doa rate of attrition used to be but if it was more than 50% I would not shocked

I got some blue eyed anthias from Oceanlife last year. We started with 4 females and 1 male, but they bullied one and she got sick. So now we have 3 females and a male. We call him Cas, short for Casanova, and his ladies. Also I recently picked up this flame hawk fish. His name is Elmo and he is very awkward, lol!
