You would all be happy to know that you've pretty much scared me to death and confused the heck out of me, lol :?

If I weren't a Taurus I'd probably throw up my hands and say heck with it! But as my mother always tells me once I get an idea in my head there's no changing it. :)

At this point there's no way I could or would go more than 75 gallons cost wise, etc. We don't have the money or space for it. We already have a zoo (4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 African grey parrots, 2 Russian tortoises and 5 gallon freshwater tank for my son) The birds are going to have to share their wall space with the new tank, lol.

Welcome to Marsh.
Sounds like my house
3 dogs, a cat, 1 72 gallon FO a 29 reef, a 5 gallon nano reef
A turtle
a dwarf hamster
A conure (small parrot)

My conure gets a kick out of watching the fish tank too, so maybe your African Greys will like the company.

I'm sure Beau Bird will get a real kick out of it. He is very interested in everything that goes on in the house and can imitate anything. Half the time he's imitating the appliances or mimicking the other critters.

I'm sure we're going to have to keep a close watch on the cats at first. They think anything new is something for them to play with.

good

good luck, I am not going to address the tank thing. Too many chefs ruin the sauce...

But I will say that my african grey (dont have anymore) could imitate 3 diff phone rings (including elctronic cell phones) and an electric drill drilling thru some plastic, all the different pitches that drill makes from start to finish in the drilling, it could imitate a cats meow on command, and could imitate a group of 5 kids playing outside. And it was truely the sound of 5 diffrent kids all making noise at the same time ( I AM STILL AMAZED AT THAT ONE).... there were plenty more noises, but those were the ones that stand out....
If you wanna trade a grey for some ball pythons let me know :D

When we had our green cheek conure by the sliding glass door where the dogs go in and out, she would imitate the sound of the dogs scratching the door so well I would get up to let them in. It took a while to fgiure out it was her.
