Thx for the offer man. I already have my eye on this white Panduit. Type G means it’s got wider fingers and it’s stronger than normal. It also has a wider hole if I need to break a finger off to pass a large gauge wire through it.

Made some progress today. The Panduit came in. The covers will be in tomorrow.

Two identical power sources on each side with easy access.

There will be a cover over this raceway. If I need to change a pump or clean the skimmer, pump, heater, return pump, etc. I’ll just easily remove the cover unplug and take that piece of equipment offline.

Of course, an Apex will eventually go back on the system and a doser will be added when things start to take off and grow. My 34” long Sump will fit directly in the middle flush with the back wall with a mere 1/2” on each side.

Since I’ve never had issues with Jebao, I ordered the current OW series.

They’ve upgraded quite a few features. I think these will be great little pumps. Billy pipes is already talking about how much he likes his OW 25’s he has on his new 75/G.

I actually went with the OW 40’s and the 25’s. The 40’s will be on each side as normal and since they should have more than enough power, I’ll probably run them at 50-70%. The 25’s will be placed on the back wall to eliminate any dead spots.

Here’s a few pics of some of the changes:

Well....

Looks like the ceiling joists are running the wrong way. Wouldn’t you know it!!!

If you look close you can see the two holes in the middle of the magnets where my small T5 fixture was mounted which is basically in the general area where the larger one would go. Not even close to the joists.

My only other opiton now is to find out if they’re running the same way in this computer nook, but now I’ve already moved the little tank here and mounted the light. So I’ll have to move it again I guess.

So here’s the computer nook. Joists are running the same way which is good because in here the stand and lights will be running perpendicular to the joists.

BUT.....

There’s an A/C vent and a light in the way!

It’s ok though...I took the A/C cover off and will replace it with something flush so that my light mount can lay flat across the ceiling.

It will mount or look like this. This pic is from an old tank.

It’s really not that expensive other than the sump. Some sumps go way higher in price though.

Trying to get the paint on the stand to look clean without brush strokes is challenging.

I need some “HPLV” skills.

Well apparently I’ve been waiting 8 weeks for a tank that’s not even being built. :frown:

Not exactly positive on what’s going on, but I haven’t been able to get my quote number (which should be available to me) after multiple phone calls.

I understand people get busy, but this is ridiculous.

If you give somebody your word and say that you will complete an order- then complete the order. I even repeated the order and emphasized “Don’t Forget.”

This is very disappointing.

I have had that same experience before with things...

The BoD probably is feeling the same way about me migrating over to xenforo right about now...:(
