Working through the night to get it set up, and immediately stocking it with fish - what is this, an episode of "Tanked"?

Just messing with you. It's good to see it up and running, and I'm glad you went with sand.
Nah you're forgetting the last part where everything dies two weeks later. That would truly make it a "tanked" tank

So you have an empty tank too? Why don't you put something in it?

I’d say I have a few pieces of coral

Looks great J!

You kept the power module fixture from the previous build? Love that fixture.

Enjoy your blue background. That's what I ordered, but they made it black and I didn't feel like waiting longer to get it changed.

It's a good thing the hippo tang has a yellow tail, otherwise you might never see it.

Honestly the color I went with for the background is a color in Lowe’s by Valspar called “Blue Shock.” It’s actually a deep purple, but through the glass with T5’s...it looks straight up blue. Kinda bummed because I really wanted that purple look.

So this time for a top I’m going with a DIY D-D Jumpguard Pro. They are very easy to make and are very cheap ($60) compared to my last Artfully Acrylic top ($500). They also have a multi cutout kit ($11) you can buy (which I did) for wires, feeders, overflow box, etc.

Can’t wait to quickly build this thing to keep my fish in the tank. I ordered from SaltwaterAquarium.com. It was $60.99 total for everything. Very good price.
