Ok so I did the upgrade on my biocube 32 to Steve's LEDs, I went this way because I needed to keep my hood due to cats.

Does anyone have any experience who can help me understand all about the hurricane x that came with it?? For example the possibilities with all the channels?? Also is it a standard 2 channel that comes with it whites and blues?

Tia

I cant help with the controller other than parroting info from the website.

Looking at the biocube 32 package it sounds like it is probably using all 4 channels of the storm x. But I didn't find the type or number of leds per channel. But it says using the intensity control you can tune it from 4k to 24k color temp.

Btw, this is not the same Steve that sells the LEDs. Also, if you have any other questions I can probably help along side our Steve. I had a little experience with ardino based controllers in the past.

You need to figure out how many channels the power supply uses and what the fV (forward voltage) is for each channel. From there, you need to know the specs for each type of led in the package.

Also, you want to know the amperage of each channel to make sure the correct LEDs are on the correct channel. Otherwise, they will fry.
