Pumps - depends on the level of control you want. if you want 0-10v control then you'll need to make a cable or buy an adaptor. If you want just simple on and off, then you can get away with connecting the power supply to the controller power strip

nothing from sicce right now unless the controller has a 0-10v control port.

all the modules are daisy chained like you said. Each one is technically its own controller, so if one component fails, the other one takes over. You just lose funtionality of whatever module that failed.

easy way to have pump control for feed mode is to switch over to hydros approved pumps or just connect the pumps to the controller power strip.

I am looking for the flow pattern control, I have wifi smart plugs for simple on/off. I do plan to add additional powerheads as the tank's needs grow but I also wanted to try to make use of equipment I have while adding the monitoring, centralization, and expandability of Hydros.

Anyone here set up the new x10 system yet? Trying to get some help with the used test sample. Hydros say dump it back into the tank is the correct and is there any chance of it effecting my corals or fish? Thanks
