Calling out to OG bounce owners. How easy is it to keep? Is it pretty similar to other bounce mushrooms for parameter/location preferences? I’m debating getting one but I wanted to see if it has an quarks to know about in advance before I spend the money on one. Also, about how much are they going for these days?

Had mine for 2-3 years. Been super easy… just tossed in the tank and left it alone. It never splits on me though. I finally went in and hacked it up. Now I feel dumb I didn’t do it sooner.

Haha, why didn’t you clue me in?! It’s been sitting around useless for the last couple years.

I think I’ve split it into 8 already since that picture. All splits healing up and seem to be doing fine. They probably have another month to go.

I've had mine more than a year, bought from a guy here on the forum, it was the size of a dime or so... been on a frag rack in several locations since and is growing very well.... I don't do anything to/for it. I have another I bought a while back about the same size, in the same tank, that is doing nothing. So go figure. My plan is to move them both over to a tank I've had running for a while that I'm filling with shrooms. Might cut it up, I've heard they throw babies very rarely. They seem to hold their value/popularity though.

I ended up getting one about 2-3” across for free. I’m housing Steve’s corals while he moves, and an OG bounce was one of those corals. Unfortunately, his died but I miraculously got one the same size on my own
