I’m in Southwest Houston. This is my 90 gallon RR with megaflow overflow. I have a 22ish gallon sump/fuge below deck that houses my Bubble Magus NAC7 cone skimmer, my titanium heater, and my Quiet1 1200 return pump. You won’t be able to see in these pics because they are from May of this year, but I also run GFO through a phosban reactor and carbon in a bag. I guess this would be a good time to say that I also don’t have any full tank shots that I felt like looking up. I will update this post later this week with current pics with full tank shots and the rest of my livestock.

I feed nori twice a day to my chevron tang, scopus tang, and the anthias. I also feed dainichi marine FX and dainichi marine FX baby sinking pellets once a day. I usually treat the tank with frozen mysis once a week.

I have 4 T5 lamps driven by an icecap 660 that run from 1:30pm to 9:30pm

This thread motivated me to take some new pictures.

48" x 24" x 16" with Starphire on the front & sides
Rear center overflow, 1.5" Durso, 3/4" return
36" x 16" x 16" sump, configured as skimmer/fuge/return
2x Maxspect G2 110W LED fixtures
2x MP40w ES on each end of the tank. I have a third so I may add it just for kicks.
SWC Xtreme 160 Protein Skimmer
Tunze Silence 1073.04 return pump
7" wide x 15" tall x 24" long ATO res w/ float switch & pump setup

Fish
Powder Blue Tang
Picasso Clown pair
6-line wrasse
African Flameback angel

Coral
Tyree's grape purple cap
Green monticap
Green Bali slimer stag
Reefermadness green w/ purple polyps birdnest
Tub mystic blue stag
Steve Alias stag (aqua green w/ baby blue tips)
Neon Green birdnest
Pinkish orange digitata
Upscale pink birdnest
Tyree Green Toadstool
(all this above is from fishcraze's tank - thanks Quoc!)
Pink/Green open brain/wellso
Purple/Green wellso
Frogspawn
Green candy canes, pink/blue candy canes
Assorted random red/green mushrooms
Assorted zoas

Inverts
RBTA
Cleaner Shrimp
Dwarf & Florida Cerith snails
Blue legged hermits
Nerite snails
Nassarius snails

The total system is about 100 gallons. I do a 12 gallon water change weekly. Skimmer cup is dumped about every 5 days. I fill the ATO once a week, but it could go longer. I am dosing a 1/2 TSP of Kalk per gallon of water in my ATO, and levels seem to be holding stable but I am still measuring & confirming. If Kalk isn't sufficient then I will add some dosing pumps & move to 2-part.

I feed the tank once a day - my PBT gets some Nori on a clip, and I feed the tank a mix of frozen enriched brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, frozen #1/#2, and pellets/flake as the mood strikes me... they get about a frozen cube a day of something different, along with a pinch or three of flake or pellets.

None of the coral is mounted yet. I am taking my time with that, no rush. I want to make sure it all stays alive a while before I go gluing it to stuff, this is my first foray into "real" SPS. I'll get around to it "soon".

I bought some Warner EcoBAK pellets as well. My plan is to run those + carbon in a BRS dual reactor that I have laying around doing nothing right now. I haven't implemented it yet, though.

I like the LED lights, but I am having a problem with the clock/timer on one of the drivers. I typically run the blue LEDs for an hour from 3-4 PM, then everything on from 4-10 PM, then I run the blue LEDs from 10-11 PM. I have the lights coming on late so I get more time to enjoy the tank when I'm actually home. I run a single 19W CFL 6500K floodlight over my refugium from 2 AM until 2 PM each day.

Hey Llama, I think all that candycane is crowding your tank. It needs a tank with a little more elbow room...like mine.

I've sold all but the top colony in the first pic of it. It grows like a weed so more will be up for sale soon.

I agree, those are pretty cool. Mine don't have that much contrast around the "rim" of the heads if you know what I mean.

My tank is still pretty young and empty...but I'll play along.

I've got a 90gal Oceanic. It's been running since early March.
I'm running 6x54 T5's which come on @ 9am and turn off @ 7pm.
For flow I'm using two Koralia 4's along with the Mag 7 return.
The sump was purchased used from FJW, not sure exactly on the volume. I'm running a PMRL100 skimmer.
I feed a combination of frozen Mysis, Formula One and Two on a 2 days on and 1 day off schedule. Once every few days I'll put some nori in a clip to feed the sea hare.
Fish:
1 B/W false perc
1 Flame Angel
3 Blue/green chromis
1 Banana wrasse

Inverts:
6-8 Snails
1 fightin conch
1 sea hare (for some strange reason, my wife's favorite)
2 Feather dusters

Coral:
2 frogspawn
various zoas
various rics
finger leather
pipe organ
various mushrooms

Full tank:

Sump:

Some shrooms:

Pipe Organ:

Orange Frogspawn (I'd never seen this color before):

Rics:

are you going to cover the back of the tank? or just leave it like that? Looks really good, but in pics the coraline takes a little away from the looks.

May try putting a black backing on it. For the time being, I'm just letting the coraline take control. Kind of spotty as it stands now.

Moved for "Reefkeeperj"

58 Gallon Reef Ready.

I've had mine up & running since 07. Most came out of my 20 gal, I was ready for an upgrade. I'm a fan of softies, however a friend of mine gave me an acro frag-it's now growing on the overflow & is doing great.
My sump is pretty basic, flow goes into a sock & return is a mag 7. I have a CPR back pak on the back of the display tank.
2 clowns (one is 13 the other 9) 1 yellow tang, 1 fire fish, 1 bi color grama. Lots of snails, turbos, 5 emerald crabs, and one cleaner shrimp in there somewhere.
I do 5 gal water changes weekly.
