Screenshot_2017-08-30-20-35-06.jpg So my son has a friend who was being evacuated by boat with his dog. Long story short boat flips and it was grab kid or his 6 month old dog of course he went after the kid. Thank God he was able to grab the kid and the kid is safe but he lost his dog.

Good young man. Would never tell me the story but my son shared it with me. Don't suppose anyone happen to take in this girl? Sure would be nice if he was able to get his dog back.

Any chance anyone has seen her?

Did you post to Facebook. I know there are a lot of rescues that have found dogs. If you want I can post it as I was in dog rescue for 15yrs and still have a fair amount of contacts.

contact the spca asap! they are trying to work with dog owners to connect them back with there pets.. all the pets recovered have been taken to shelters in other cities like dallas and san antonio because our shelter is too full and closed to incoming animals. I can tell you that no animals have been taken to the houston shelter since August 26th 2017, so its either still out there or at a shelter in another city.

Been searching all over the net. Son said they finally found his dog the next neighborhood over. I guess the currents where too much for her. From what I understand he was barely able to grab the kid. Not sure who's kid. Just know he doesn't have one. [emoji32] Glad he was able to save the child.
