Selling this Handcrafted Cal 30 Bolt action bullet pen, WYSIWYG ;-)
This is not one of these chinese replica, nope this is handmade in Houston.

My son made 1st place in State competitions with his wooden and acrylic ball and fountain pens/pencils the second year,
and now trying to see if there is any interest for his work in the local community.

Really nice made, they are already all over in the family ;-)

Let me know if interested.
Comes as shown in the box.

Have him turn a few fountain pens next time he does a batch. I would be interested. It's the same process, just a different kit.

Told him the same to make some more Fountain pens, but well the young wilds won't listen ;-)
Here are some he recently did and took to the competitions.....................

Anyways, he is working on some more pens.
The Ultimate Reefer Pen would be it !!!
Haven't found the right material for the pen blanks yet.

He does good work. I was looking at some kits, thinking about a small lathe.

Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

THX, honestly he really does.
Have seen a crafty talent in his first works years back which I started to invest in the equipment slowly piece by piece.
Now the results are really really nice, I couldn't top it anymore.

Total investment with the smallest lathe and all the drilling equipment, special tools for machining, polishing and assembly etc. is somewhere in the 2k range, and quite addicting as well.

Oh my, that is really really good. He needs to be selling those on etsy or similar websites. Is that for sale?

Lol, he is getting there slowly.

Very soon some more of these Victorian style fountain pens will be done.
I love them actually. The Wood smells like an old Church or Sailing Ship ;-)

Andre,Do you know what kind of nib he used for the Fountain Pen? I write with Fountain Pens myself and would definitely be interested in one, or even the one shown in the picture.

We buy the ink units through Amazon.
Germany's best and highest quality ink available in different colors from Pelikan.
When you use this ink, you will notice the smooth writing experience compared to ink from Hobby lobby or other crafts or art inks.

Pelikan Ink cartridges 4001 ;-)
I used to use the short ones, which fit any fountain pen, the long ones fit any fountain pen that has the spare ink space!
Then the long bottle fit in the entire space inside the pen.

Available in all colors of the rainbow.

chrfrancis, we need to meet sometime. We share similar passions!

I am a Visconti guy myself. I just picked up a Conklin nighthawk I use pretty regularly and I must say I love it.

Andre - the nib is the metal piece on the end of the pen. They come in different widths from extra fine to 1.X mm. Most of the kits your son buys is probably using #6 nibs. If so, that means they are easily swapped up with some higher end nibs that you can buy on amazon or gouletpens.com The pen design is crucial but the kits usually have terrible nibs and they will suck to write with. If your son spent a few extra $$ on nice nib upgrades it will yield $$$$ in return. If he produces a gorgeous pen like that AND it writes well, I can send folks his way.

Today's selection of pens...
