So I've been digging Fusion control with my Apex.

I've managed to attach my Radions via the WXM and have a virtual outlet to over-ride the light programming and turn the lights on for those times when the lights are normally off and someone comes by and wants to take a look -- something hard to do with the standard "wire needed" interface from EcoTech.

The one thing that has been vexing me is an hourly email alert saying my tank is below 75F. It is not.

Turns out someone added me as a manager (i.e. full access) to their unit. I could see, control and modify any setting. Their unit, through the Fusion website, was sending me notifications that their tank was 73F! That's cold!

Anyway, I removed myself from their unit and the issues have gone away.

Just a heads-up. If you get strange notifications, they may be coming from a controller you don't own.

And no, nobody can assume control of your unit unless you mistakenly add them.

LOL! The Apex boys recommend on their forum to wipe 'em out before you sell them off. This helps bypass these kind of issues (although, that may not have been the cause of your issue). I had a similar issue happen with mine. That Fusion thing still has some bugs to work out, that's for sure. I still use my old ways through a DNS and an app. I have Fusion setup, but I hardly use it for now. I had to send it in because the base went nuts on me, but that's a whole separate issue.

I bought that controller from a reefer on here for, I think, $350. I could be wrong, but I've spent more than $300 more just in repairs. It wasn't dude's fault at all... I truly believe it was age issues. However, I'll never buy a used controller again.

Yeah, I've become "friends" with the RMA. My WXM had to be returned to be fixed. It was practically new but I could not get it to accept the firmware update. As I din't have an itemized receipt, the warranty wasn't an option. <sigh> I spent many hours and my kids learned a few new words during the process. Once it came back, it was a breeze to set up and attach my Radions to.

I'm now almost exclusively using Fusion -- both the web app and the mobile app. They've really cleaned it up. You can remove unused outlets from the display list, something the legacy app/site can't do. That in itself is gold. The new mobile app has sliders that prevent you from accidentally changing the status of your outlets with fat fingers.

I still use my old routing for alerts and you still need the legacy web app to do many things.

I'd encourage you to re-look at Fusion. I've had little to complain about.

I definitely will give it another go. I do like the outlet deletion option. If you can do that, it must be pretty easy to delete modules too (ones you don't run anymore). I always had to run commands to get rid of those. I'll give it a good lookover...

Just to be clear. You still can't delete them. But you can move them into an area where the unused outlets are not visible on the Fusion web page nor the mobile app.

You still have to delete modules through the Apex' on-board web pages.
