I’ve started noticing this under some of my corals. Anyone know what it is?

I could absolutely be wrong, but it looks like coralline on the skeleton.

I think it looks more like a sponge. I have the same thing in several of my tanks. Harmless, I think they’re sponges. They feel like my pineapple sponges do

Is it raised from the skeleton or pretty flat? Looks flat to me, (could just be the angle) thats why i leaned towards coralline.

I have them too. I'm 99% positive it's a sponge of some sort. I haven't noticed anything bad from them, but I am monitoring them.

It is raised. On another coral it’s way more round. Hmmm so maybe sponge. Ok ok
