I am truly sadden by some of the stories I've read. I hope my fellow Marshians don't quit the hobby because of this. There are so many wonderful people on here that it would be a shame to lose you from this hobby.

As such, I will be giving away one toxic bounce mushroom or yellow morphed rainbow anemone to anyone who is willing to rebuild after this tragic ordeal. Only thing I ask are the following:

1. Be a supporting member
2. Send me a pic of your crashed tank

Pick up in Katy when your new tank is cycled.

I would be so devastated if I loss my tank. I can't imagine how some of our members are feeling now. It's my pleasure to do this. I hope they don't quit.
If I didn't prepare last time to be ready for an emergency like this I would have lost everything. I definetly would have quit the hobby this time as I've been thru this too many times. You can only get beating down so much.

Our generator saved our butt! I will have some coral loss, but all things considered, and in light of the tremendous loss others have suffered, I really can't complain. Hang in there MARSHians, we will get through it together :)

I agree, I couldn't begin to know how devastating a feeling it is. It's been nice to see all the reefing communities throughout TX helping each other out.

Not to hijack your thread or take any credit away from your very generous post but I’m happy to give away some frags for some of you guys too. I don’t have the stock list like the OP but could def put some color in your tank.

Lost everything. Just started in November. Last pic was my three fish huddled together...barely alive at about 60 degree water temp.

I am not quitting. Already started process today to get the water back to livable. Ready to have everything back but patient enough to make sure it is done the right way.

As someone going through it, thank you all for your generosity. My tank loss is nothing compared to the homes and lives damaged in the past few days. Anyone can reach out if they need help with anything.

Man I am so so so sorry for the people who experienced massive amounts of death or full losses. Nobody couldve predicted this freeze and none of us were fully prepared for the scale of this disaster. I’m grateful that I had a generator, otherwise I would’ve lost everything, and that I had the good sense to make more rodi before my unit froze. Thank you so much @Betcao01 and @Tstew32 for y’all’s generous offers, it’s incredibly selfless of y’all! I’m glad we have people like you in the hobby :)

We can rebuild! Hopefully 2021 goes a lot better than 2020.

I’ll get in on this! Plan to rebuild but will be making some changes. I had use of a generator but heater just couldn’t keep up. Before and after shot 😭

Man I’ve seen so many posts about heaters that couldn’t keep up I wish I had more time to watch threads I had so many heaters here would have let people use. Unfortunately work had me busy out in the weather trying to help support power plants in the refinery and helping so they could get units back up and producing fuel. It’s not quite over yet for some people I fear. If you need a heater or something simple and your still struggling but have the time to come get I have supplies to give...
