Thank you for the responses. I think I could at least catch the clownfish and give her a freshwater bath. At this time, all of the infected fish seem to behaving normally and still voraciously eating. If that’s the case, would the stress of catching and a freshwater bath be appropriate?
Exactly. If the things drop off, they are worms and most likely can be treated by dosing the DT with Prazipro. However, if a freshwater dip has no impact on them then most likely we are looking at fungus or some kind of weird bacterial disease. Unfortunately, there is no reef safe treatment for either of those.
