Powder Blue Tang (1 Viewer)

I would like to know if any of you have a Powder Blue Tang? I am thinking about ordering one but have read that they are not easy to keep, and have been known to have ick problems. I just recently tore down my 135g and setup a 200g reef tank, so it will have plenty of room to swim.
Any advise, or personal experience with this fish would be great.

I got one from a buddy how just took down his tank. He had the blue for 6months no problems. He was a lite blue when I got him. After a week in my qt tank he started to get brighter blue. He is my main tank now and is doing great, he eats none stop and does great with my sail fin and kole. No problems with ick or anything.

Gavin I was @ fish r us monday they have a beautlifull 4-6" powder blue right now I almost got it but picked up a naso and a hippo that were the same size and already fine together.

I have had mine for about three months. I bought it from someone who had it for a couple years. I was nervous about it just like you are. But this one had been great in this other tank, and it has been great in mine, too.

Sadly, I will be selling it as soon as I finish listing the stuff I'm selling from my tank. I'm getting rid of it all in anticipation of moving. It has long been my favorite marine fish.

i got my mom a powder brown and it died in less than a week. iv heard from many people that they die really easy.

They are a hard fish to care for, even as tangs go.
