Wooooooowwwwwww, this Applecake became the most valuable Cake ever guys !!!!!!!!!

DIESEL offered me a Purple passion for a good ol German applecake, holy Clownfish, Diesel gave me an entire Colony (large btw.) of the Purple Passion which he had sitting in his frag system........................... sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
I kind was expecting a larger frag but no colony.

Such a beauty...........

And since I was there I looted his frag tank a bit with awesome Fire.
Box is purely filled with High end colonies and frags. THX for that Ben, you are great.

Plenty of RR's, TCK's etc......
Going into growout now.

At the end he even throwed in some really HIGH High end in, he had in his DT on a frag rack which he never offered for Sale.

Since Ben is going out of the SPS a "bit", I really did not see it on his tank, lol.
Here is a quick peak of the tank as of last weekend.

Still breathtaking and more LPS, nice Sunburst Anemones and some expensive Clown moved in already.
More stuff to come I bet ;-)
Actually the more open aqua scape, is crying for some Gorgonia.

So here is his current tank, for all the ones who are wondering how it looks like.

I feel confident that Houston can expect "a never been there LPS tank" in soon future ;-)

HAHA.......... Andre is funny.
I just made it a bit colorful for the holidays that's it.
Got to put some Jingle bells in the tank.
Oh and you missed these mistletoes in my tank..........

They were in the frag tank in the corner by the heater as the bubbles like it warm.

Wow! That's amazing!

I personally like LPS and Soft corals because of the movement. I hope Ben will get to enjoy his tank this time around instead of have to worry about all the high end SPS when he travels.

Ben, happy for you brother. Live life stress free!

PSX, how come I've never heard any mention of this German Applecake? :whip::tape:

Btw, someone will send me new kind of SPS colony after the holidays as part of a trade 10 months ago, pretty sure I won't keep it and un-seen it will go straight to Andre but not before I name it the Diesel Apfelkuchen :peace:

I will maintain the tank for what it is and that exist of just cleaning the glass.
Not doing water changes, skimmer is turned off, CaRx is turned off as well, fish get food once a week.
The only thing that keeps this tank healthy is the micronano bubbles for 4hrs at night.
The power of that is amazing as I'm more than a year in with that.

I gotta agree. I see nothing but positives from the micro bubbles. The hyper-oxygenate the water, reduce excessive CO2, remove detritus and keep rocks clean, make the corals slime and produce more vibrant colors, and more.

You didn't mention the LPS and Softies you'll be buying. :spy:

Buying................ is for crazies  I only get corals send to me from various vendors on R2R.
All corals in the DT came mostly out the frag tanks.
No zoas in there as they will become a healthy super expensive snack for my Angels.
The other day some crazy person offered me a lot of money for my 30+ head Hyper Jubilee's which with other High End softies are hanging out in the 60 cube.
If I have time and on the moment it ain't on my hand I need to send conformation to EM to get the G4's in the mail as they were happy to get the Diesel tank back on the program.
Just that today Giesemann dropped another 16 bulbs at my front door.

Well, I think you should do a lot of softies and keep the tank on cruz-control for a while. They did tweak the spectrum on the Gen 4's more to the blue side like the Gen 2's. Plus the spread is waaaay better with no hot spots. They getting better. I still won't leave my T5's for LED's though. :nono:

They are the G4's and are free and less maintenance as LPS do super good with them, my bounces, halu's, kracks and what not more splitting and growing like HA on leds in my frag room or maybe it's the no water changes............ June 15 was the last time I did a water change :der:
Oh and I thinking to hook my ATO straight up to the faucet, it's sitting right next to my ATO reservoir, IMO the extra TDS must have something extra as it's only 1.5 gallons a day spread over 24 hours shouldn't make a difference.
Maybe a once week ammonia dose to spike the bacteria, hey if it's good for water purification plants it must be good for just a small 200 gallon tank.
Medical bleach............ to keep the stress of fish low and for that to battle and kill off any wrong doing bacteria and parasite, it worked in my QT system, never lost a fish doing so.
That said my tank is because of it doing pretty good for the abuse it's going through in many scientist mind but it makes you wonder:confused2:
I have done it for many years :quote: the right way with great success and with proof, now I'm going against all odds and have the same results.:noidea:
