Considering placing an order with quarantinedfish.us if anyone would like to join and split some shipping. Might have room for 1-2 more fish.

Look them up, they do a full 4-6 week QT on their fish. The price reflects the time and effort put into them, but for certain fish, to me it is going to be worth it.

I have not, but I've read peoples reviews on humble.fish and he seems legit. Plus if you visit the website he goes through his QT process.

He just became a sponsor on R2R lots of reviews about him there. Seems like a pretty nice guy, very personable and just trying to do a good thing for the reefing community.

Mike is great. Very transparent, great communication, will send you photos and videos of your fish while in-progress.
His QT fee is very reasonable and he's in OK. Humblefish has a very tight group of friends he recommends. I actually have an order with him as I sold most of my QT tanks and I am QTing some other fish.

When you consider the cost of being wiped out in some cases thousands of dollars its worth it. Smaller tanks with 4 or 5 fish I wouldnt do it.

I'm preparing an order from him also, but he doesn't have any Anthia's currently so I won't be ordering anytime soon.

Also probably not worth the cost to drive all the way up there to pick up, but if someone on the SE wants to do an order when they come in I'd be open to it.

As if it is worth it or not, it depends on how much you are willing to spend on shipping.
Most likely it will be $50 - $60 vs $20 if we split the cost between the three of us.

Takes me 2 hours round trip to drive up there though. Opportunity cost... I know I make more than that if I am working. If it was on a sunday afternoon where I could hit up other shops it'd be a different story

Haha I know the feeling. In CA my drive was 12 miles, but that averaged 1.5 hours each way. Over the summer I rode my bike as it was faster than driving! Pre-Covid my commute was about 15 minutes, now with COVID I don't go in at all. My car has driven about 5 miles a week right now!

In related news (to driving) I did my progressive "snapshot" thing right before COVID started. It was great, I never drove the car and got an A+ rating! lol

I've used him and would again of i ever get more fish. Very fair prices and honest. I had one doa and he offered multiple options for making it right. Also he held one fish due to it acting sick and sent another one the next week.

I might be interested. What he needs though is web designer that understand not to put black text on the first image (dark one) that pops up when you go to his website haha! I’ll check it out though and let you know. If I buy some, you will deliver them to my house, correct?
