here are some par readings from my tank. 3 xr30g5 blue and 4 t5 54 watt blue plus. They are mounted 11 inches from water line. And from top of water to top of sand bed is 19 inches. To give an idea on depth
I went from 3 hydras 26hd and 40% on radions was just a bit higher then hydras at 100% that’s why I put them at 40 the will be moved up slowly to maybe 50%

Some serious numbers and a beautiful tank! Still need to test the Sky now that they are on the big tank, but it looks just as bright on 65% as the xr30 pros I had up did on 75%. Changing to the Sky made me realize the Radions were cooking my tank! Tank is 3 degrees cooler and it's all thats changed recently.

How % did you have the radions at? And how high were they mounted. I went from hydras to radions. They are 11 inches from water line and I do have two fans on each side of my canopy that turn on with t5’s that help keep it cool. and as of now tank temp has not really changed much but a degree or so but my wife messes with ac a lot . I’m only planning to get to 50-60 % because 100% probably cook everything lol

75% and on the Radion mounts which I think are 9 inches off the water. Skys fit on the same mounts so they are also at 9 inches. Knew the spotlight Radions were warm, just didn't think that much so I never bothered to mess with them. I'm sure a fan would have taken care of it as it just always felt warm by the tank.

O okay that’s cool any pictures on the sky lights on the tank? Maybe lower the make a bit more heat but 75% is up there bet you were easy in the 600+ par
