Anyone else have avocados? My tree is 22’ and has about 35 fruits this year. Next I have mangos sprouting.

Ha. I got rid of my avocado tree. Gave it to a buddy. Currently not doing well. Hopefully it bounces back. Was more than 10 years old from what my neighbor told me

No Mango's but love them. Went to India last year and they tasted so much better there than we can find out here.

G/F's Cousin has like 10 different types of Mango tree's. Although I haven't had any of them yet.

I have a plum and grapefruit tree. I also have figs, pomegranate, and a lemon tree. Squirrels always get the plums and figs before they ripen, but we get plenty of grapefruits.

I have 2 pomegranates. This year I have two small fruit about 3”. I have been having a problem with Anthracnose fungal on the leaves. Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Blood Orange, 4 types of Satsuma, Cutie Mandarin, Plum, 3 types of peaches, tangerine, LSU Fig, 2 Loquat, the Avocado, and 3 Pawpaw. 50 registered goats ( B&S Goats of Texas) Blood and Sons but most people just call Bulls**t, 20 chickens,10 guineas,6 ducks, three cows. And a partridge in a pear tree. I thought retirement was supposed to be fun and I am turning it into work.

Haha!

So are your pomegranate trees producing fruit? Mine has only been in the ground 2 summers, so I am not sure what point they reach maturity. Our grapefruit tree took 7yrs and then Bam! The fig and plum produce well, but I always get bested by the squirrels.

I planted an experimental bush last spring that I picked up from Arbor Gate, its a lemonade berry bush, can't wait to see how those berries taste! I'm still in the prunning phase though so I may try them next spring. I'm big into edible plants and flowers so nearly everything in my back yard (that the previous owner didn't plant) is edible.
