i will definitely take a look at them. I have a Maltese and he has knee problems, so if im going to get another pupper, I think im going to move away from a "purebred" dog.

Ya. Allie never had joint problems. A few years ago I started giving her a soft jell of Omega 3. Fish oil. Supposed to be good for their joints without smoking one.

They are not hunters. Think of them as a clean up crew. In the wild they eat dead or decaying animals, plants...In captivity they eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, wet and dry cat food as babies and dry dog food as an adult. Rapashy makes a great powder food you mix with water and turns into a gel. Rapashy also makes foods for fish!

What is their life span and do they always have to be caged?
In captivity they can live 20-30 years. Most are wild caught so their temperament depends on how much you handle them. I can take her out and hold/pet her. She sits on my shoulder and watches tv with me. We even enjoy fish tanks together!! image000000(5).jpg

Ya I sometimes lift doggie and she just stares into my coral reef. Years ago I brought my sister's Golden Retriever over for a visit. He looked into the tank. Saw the fish. He looked puzzled when he saw them swim away. I think he thought they were birds and did not swoop away like a bird...you know... with gravity. Sis has a bird cage.

I saw this great horned owl this evening. Not a great picture because there wasn't much light. It finally solved a mystery of this strange sound we sometimes hear, usually at night. It sounds more like a cat than an owl, except the pitch goes up at the end.

Someone got her teeth cleaned again. Anesthesia hasn’t worn off yet so her tongue is still hanging out there. B4DFBC64-D728-482B-9D26-12D168E3096C.jpeg
