I find that lighting has a lot to with it. Along with water quality. Sometimes bad water quality is good for mushrooms.

So this might be an unusual special request. I'm having "one of those days"...and zoas ALWAYS make me happy. How bout some pics of your favorite zoa that's currently in your tank? Lol my clowns are dumb. The other day the bigger one literally jumped out of the tank trying to attack my hand. They used to just nip at the most tender parts of my hands but now they have graduated to nipping, not letting go and vigorously trying to rip my skin off. Doesn’t hurt but still..
