Hey I live off of Jones and West road in NW houston, Does anyone know of a real barber shop around here? Not Sportsclips ect?

+1, good ole fashioned, no women allowed, guy talkin' barber shop. no trendy music, with neo-cool stylist, shampoo stations, and 50 options available.

haircut, shave, OR haircut and a shave.

I went to Roosters once. Great cut and shave, they even offer beer. I only went once because even though you get the Old-Fashioned barber feel you also get Hollywood salon prices.

went to hargraves, I was pleased, the lady did a good job. Except for a couple small things, the main man had a line of 8 people so I decided to not wait for him, but dang now I want a handlebar mustache.

there's a nice barber shop that i used to go to as a child. it's here in baytown, and is called trophy barber shop. when i would go there, there was always old war vets cutting hair. and the place was loaded down with stuff animals from various hunting trips (polar bears, seals, golden eagle, bobcats, dear, alligators, you name it). they were very traditional and used an older style cash register. i haven't been there in forever, but it was located on texas avenue here in baytown.

I wonder if it is still there. Now that I think about it, I used to go to a shop in richmond. That was like that. They even had one of those bottle coke machines, the glass ones. And it wasn't a prop. It had been there since, since it was new. That isn't that far away... Maybe next time.
