Guys,

just got my Triton back from that time.
Iodine was at 3,46 where the ideal range is typically 0,06...............................

Really?????? Thank you Seachem.....
However I stopped dosing days before the test actually.

Did you notice any ill affects? I didn't see anything abnormal.

That's why we should all test with Triton. Informed reefing is better reefing. :)

Nah.... I knew I'm high on Iodine due to my Red sea tests and overall corals looked a bit bright so I expected that.
However, did not expect to be that high.

So, I did stop any iodine / iodide and fortunately it did not have an effect on the bacteria since Nitrogen cycle works perfectly fine.
Colors become pretty quick vibrant again and my Iodine test shows still elevated levels but not as high as before.

I used the Seachem Iodide but that seemed to be oxidized too quick into Iodine.
So I'm back to a very little Kent Iodide for now until Iodine is back to normal and then I may try the KZ Iodide...........................

Likely my ORP is too high, therefore the oxidation happens too quickly!
Need to run more dirty, lol
