I have been looking at a couple of different options when it comes to lighting my reef. I've looked at Kessel, ai, redsea and ecotech. I'm just looking for the best light to grow my corals that is the closet to natural sunlight.

What size tank do you have? I’m really loving the AI Primes. Not a fan of my gen 4 ecotechs, thinking about switching to AI on that tank as well

I run AI hydra 26 HD on my Nuvo 40g and Kessill A80 on my Nuvo 10G

Cant beat the shimmer with the Kessil, although the wifi controller on the AI’s are pretty nice. The 40g is still on the new side; both tanks the corals are doing
well. I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either one.

If I bought a fixture right now it would be one of these three lights fixtures:

Consider your budget and goals. I have seen ppl very happy with ecotech g5, RS ReefLed 90 is a great light that won’t break the bank. Some people swear by T5 supplemented by LED. I would venture to say that none of those options (including Kessil and AI) will have a “natural” feel like MH for instance. Some LED have so much shimmer it hurts the eyes. All of them will bring out amazing fluorescent colors.
