Awh man I'm sorry, hope the little guy is ok. Your aquascape looks great did you use the carib sea shapes and are you staying barebottom?

Boo, I don't have an Instagram so you need to start a build thread on here or R2R!!
The build is finally up on here and R2R

Update
Had an algae bloom that started a few days, all the fish seemed fine until I saw my yellow line goby covered in ich. Poor guy was probably having a difficult time breathing.
Day 1
IMG_20200517_151358.jpg

After taking this picture I immediately went straight to Petco for an intank UV sterilizer to throw in the DT. Amazon would have taken over a week, thankfully after two different stores I found exactly what I was looking for!

AA Aquarium Green Killing Machine Internal UV Sterilizer with Power Head 24W https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ZVODP0/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_TBEXEbMY42NYD

Sticking with HumbleFish's advice after setting up my UV, I knew I had to keep him eating and make sure he was fat. Upped my feeding regiment and basically soaked anything and everything in Selcon. From pellets, to frozen I let it soak for a good 15 min before feeding.
I woke up the next day I could already see that the UV sterilizer had cleared up most of the algae. Oversizing my UV was definitely the right call, there is still a noticeable amount of ich but you can really see the difference.
Day 2

Fast forward to today. There are still a couple spots on him, he's much more active today which gave me the confidence that he's going to be ok.
Day 3
IMG_20200520_194436.jpg

Going to keep the heavy feeding for another week as well as keep that UV running indefinitely for now. I have noticed a small white spot on either side of my Biota yellow tangs tail. But no where else, and he is eating like a hog so I'm fairly confident in his health as well. Could not get a good picture of him he's my only camera shy fish.

Coincidentally my order from Reefcleaners arrived today! Nice clean ball of chaeto, Florida cereriths, dwarf ceriths and 2 turbo snails. Everything somehow survived 3 days in usps, the water the snails arrived in was hot! I didn't get an exact temperature but I'd say it had to be high 80's, low 90's like a warm shower is what I can best relate it to.

Also measured the par today to get a better understanding of the G5s. I'm definitely impressed, BRS was right the spread was very even across almost the whole tank. However with the 2 Xr15s cranked to 100% I'm still only able to average in the 200-210 par range. So it looks like I'm going to need to pick up a third xr15 after all.

Well after a few months of waiting my Clearview Lid finally came in yesterday!

Looks pretty snazzy and fits like a glove. Yes I'm using the feeding door for cables for now haha. Might have been off a little on my measurements for the cutout but overall it's great.

Unfortunately two weeks prior to this lid arriving my tailspot blenny wanted to ride those fabric waves of carpet behind the tank. I didn't notice he was missing for a few days so he was pretty thin and crispy.
But everyone else has been minding their Ps and Qs

Tank looks awesome!! As for the yellow tang, if your talking about 2 white dots that look kinda in oval shape at the base of its tail, that would be there spines. All tangs have them. So nothing to worry about there! Glad all the fish are doing good!

Yep I honestly had no idea, first time tang owner. He has already out bullied the royal Gramma and growing fast. Currently the star of the show!

That lid looks great! How much did it run you? (if you dont mind me asking)
@Cody could probably machine something cheaper. It was $250 after taxes, would be cheaper if I didn't add feeding hole and cutouts for the lights.

Yeah those things are not cheap. Acrylic is too expensive in general.
Can't argue with the end result, however.

I have the ability to make them but my machine can only go up to 30”x30”, so for most tanks, it would require multiple panels.

Also, I’m not very good at stretching the mesh and plunging the rubber. If someone were interested in me just making them cuts, then yeah, I can make them much cheaper.
