Large powder blue

Fish list so far:

~Powder Blue

~White Tail Bristle Tooth Tang

~Leopard wrasses (3 of them)

~Orange Back Fairy Wrasses (my favorite)

~Scopas Tang (my fake black tang)[emoji23]

~Fiji damsels (3 of them getting along so far)

Updates!!!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh man sorry just saw this [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Few updates some good some bad:

Good:
Just got 3 radions G5-went with blue. Prefer more blue look after watching BRS video

Bad:
Been battling slime algae just on the sand bed-and it’s a very thin layer. Went through two rounds of chemiclean and tons of water changes still some algae on sand.

I need to test PO4 and NO3

Nice lights! I was wondering what you had up your sleeve, with that recent for sale post! [emoji1]

I was very happy with the ATI fixtures but wanted more controllability. And with ATI you get tons of coverage for a lot less cost compared to radions.

I think it's great that you're upgrading, man. You don't have to sell me on what the ATI's can do "anymore". LOL! I already bought the other fixture. :loveit: It's awesome!

I talked to ATI North America this morning on the new ATI Straton. They couldn't tell me when they will release here, but I'm watching closely to see how they compare to the ATI T5 fixtures. I'm hoping BRStv does a lab-up on them. :)

Let me know how you like the G5's after a bit of time goes by. I'm still on the fence with the whole "LED thing" after many failed attempts in the past.

been running my trio of G5 for 5 weeks now. Maybe 6. Borrowed a par meter to set them up and set acclimate on 30 days. Didn’t lose a frag. Stuff is growing and looking nice. Leds have come a long way.

Tank is doing horrible but hey it doesn’t hurt to add more gadgets. Just got the Neptune trident.

Just like OLA I think ammonia is entering my ro di water - I have this diatom film algae on the sand bed only - not much on rocks/corals.

Okay so plugged in the trident and so far very impressive!!!

Ran a couple of salifert/Hanna tests after a week to compare to trident.

Trident ALK test 7.5
Salifert ALK test 7.4
Hanna ALK test 7.7

The other good news is the algae on the sand bed subsided. I think the issue was lack of nutrients in the water columns. If you need to add nutrients to your tank just feed oyster feast per Webster [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

And swung by Webster’s and picked up this beauty- under radion G5 30% intensity
